Our Mission

The Home Building Association of Greater Portland has promoted, protected and advanced the building industry continuously since 1941. We provide substantial money-saving benefit options, networking opportunities, education and government representation to builders, developers, remodelers, sub-contractors, suppliers and other industry service professionals in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Columbia, Hood River, and Yamhill counties. More than 1,400 members currently call the Home Building Association of Greater Portland home, with more joining every day.

2027 HBA Housing Forecast presented by PARR

Join us Friday, November 6, for the annual HBA Housing Forecast at the Oregon Convention Center. More than 500 industry professionals as well as many government officials and staff will gather for this informative breakfast program. The event covers the residential and residential-commercial housing markets, including for sale, rental, and remodel.

2026 HBA Home Celebrates Collaboration, Craftsmanship and the Future of Housing

The 2026 HBA Home is officially complete—and its story is one of collaboration, craftsmanship and a shared commitment to the future of housing.

Built by Mountainwood Homes, with a plan provided by Pacific Lifestyle Homes, a lot donated by Icon Construction, and generous support from HBA Greater Portland members, the approximately 2,500-square-foot home is located in Serres Farms in Oregon City—the same community that served as the featured site for the 50th Anniversary of the NW Natural Street of Dreams.

More than a home, the HBA Home represents what can happen when members across the residential construction industry come together around a common goal.
