Celebrating Excellence. Recognizing Leadership. Encouraging Philanthropy. Creating Opportunity.
Each of HBA’s annual Signature Events has a special focus. In addition, they all provide an opportunity for bringing our industry together in large numbers, usually 300 or more attend each of the following events. Visit the Annual Shows & Events Calendar for dates for this year’s events, or call our office for more details.
HBA’s Holiday Gala includes recognition of our outgoing leadership and installation of the new Board and Officers. Also honored at this annual event held in late November or early December are the Remodeler of the Year, Builder of the Year, Trade Contractor of the Year, Associate of the Year, and the Lifetime Achievement award recipient. Typical attendance is 300-400.
Held in early December, this breakfast event is the industry’s highest profile forecasting event of the year. A national economist from NAHB, in conjunction with local and regional experts on market and consumer trends, provides information on what’s been happening in the housing market and what that points to for the year(s) ahead. Typical attendance is 400-500.
The Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction, started in 1997, has evolved to become the Home Builders Foundation’s flagship event. Held each Spring, it’s a fundraising and friend-raising event that is entertaining, heartwarming and a lot of fun. The event is a celebration of our industry’s efforts to transform shelter for the transitionally homeless and to increase opportunities for our future workforce. Typical attendance is 300-400.
