The 2013 Ultimate Open House New Home Tour: Builder Deadlines Fast Approaching

The 2013 Ultimate Open House New Home Tour presented by NW Natural® and Standard TV and Appliance is poised to be one of the most exciting in years. The annual event, which runs two weekends, April 27-28 & May 4-5, is free to the public and brings hundreds of savvy home buyers though newly constructed homes in the five-county area.

The early bird deadline for local builders to include their new construction projects in this year’s Ultimate Open House—and save $400 on their application fee, is February 15 with the final deadline, March 8. All HBA of Metro Portland members are encouraged to sign up soon by downloading the packet here, visiting or calling the HBA at 503-684-1880.

Other incentives include:
o Mobile Phone Application: iPhone and Android smart phones can access the UOH tour and your home from a smart phone.
o Guidebook: A half page home listing in the show guidebook with photo, address of home, directions, price, and builder contact information.
o Website: A website listing on the show website with up to eight
photos/renderings/plat map/floor plans, address of home, directions, price, link to builder’s website and contact information.
o Advertising Campaign: Television, radio, newspaper and outdoor advertising.
o Marketing and Public Relations: Special stories, calendar listings, news features and
extensive public relations using the HBA’s strong media relationships.
o Signage: Each entry receives a house sign and six directional signs to raise awareness and drive foot traffic.
